To summarize a great many events as one, I lost that old life. The person who took it from me made a similar sacrifice...sadly, hers did not turn out as well as mine. At the risk of sounding cliche, I feel that I have been given a chance to be who I would have been--who I should be--had I not forgotten.
I have been tempted to strip all of my work off of this site, purging the pain and horror (both of others and my own) of the past. I feel, however, that it is all a part of me, and honestly, it's only a single personal-ego-website among thousands of others on DeviantArt. Besides, I am very proud of some of what I've written as a result of my experiences--if not the experiences that inspired them.
So--to whoever's out there (if anyone; in truth, I feel regret only that others may not understand what I have written here to the extent that I do), and to any and all that are truly alive...I'm back.
